All work and no play...

Greetings Suckahs!
I would like to thank you for letting me join in on your group. Many thanks to Ned for setting up the site. Also thanks to both Presley and Ned for their creative input.

Well to launch right into movie news:

Yesterday, I was in my friend Elena's student film. Basically, I was the main character's love interest. She is really into me and I am oblivious. She repeatedly tries to grab my hand but always misses. Elena is a big fan of Paul Thomas Anderson, as am I, and there are 2 films of his that are referenced in her film. The girl and I see a piano on the street and walk up to it and try to play it, which reminded me of "Punch Drunk Love."

There is also a party scene in her film that is based on "Boogie Nights." It's one continuous shot where the camera follows a certain person around a party then stops on a conversation then follows someone else, etc. That scene was really fun to do because at the very end, the girl finally can't take it anymore and forces my into a closet. If only girls actually did that!
